Before you write that JAMB exam, do you know the cut off mark for the university or college you wish to gain admission to? I’m here to help; JAMB has officially announced the required cut-off marks for both universities, polytechnics and colleges for the 2025 JAMB exercise.
The official cut-off mark for Federal universities like FUTO, UNILAG, etc, is 140, whereas for the College of Education and Polythenics, the cut-off mark is 100.

Understand that different universes have their own official cut of marks, but it can never be lower than 140, so expect numbers from 140 above. For example, the cute Mark for electrical engineering in FUTO as of 2025 is 240; this is a cumulative of your JAMB score and post-UTME score.
Please verify the exact cut-off mark of your desired course before proceeding with the JAMB exam, then check your JAMB results after exams. The same is applicable to the College of Education and Polytechnics. What JAMB does is that they place a minimum number so that students can try to get admission.
