How to Upload O’level Result to JAMB Portal – 2025 UTME

Uploading your WAEC or O’level result to your JAMB portal is something students should be able to do; it’s important because you would need them when you want to enter university or college.

    The reason why JAMB is requesting this is to verify how authentic you are and how fit you are to gain admission into the university. In this article, I have devised a simple step-by-step guide that will help you upload the results to your JAMB portal. Follow the steps below;

Requirements before Uploading your WAEC results to the JAMB portal

    1. You must have registered for JAMB through their website, i.e. you must have your email, registration number and password with you before proceeding.
    2. You must have sat for an O’level exam, either (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) in the past. The most common exam here is WAEC. However, JAMB accepts all kinds of results.
    3. Lastly, your grades in your O’level results must meet the requirements of JAMB. Anything below a D grade might not be considered uploadable to JAMB. Verify these claims before proceeding.

There are actually two ways in which you can upload your level results in the JAMB portal; you can either do it yourself via your smartphone or do it in a cybercafe/accredited centre.

Upload O’level Result (WAEC) with Smartphone

    1. Take a clear picture of the O’level result you want to upload, e.g. WAEC results.
    2. Download Camscanner on your device and scan the result. This app will make the result look clearer.
    3. Save the scanned file as an image, not more than 50KB.
    4. Head over to the JAMB official site here.
    5. Input your registration number and login.
    6. Click on upload results and choose between (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
    7. Enter your O’level exam number
    8. Upload the scanned image, which will attract a cost of N500. This amount can be paid via your ATM card.
    9. After payment, your results have been loaded; congratulations.

Upload O’level results (WAEC) in Cybercafe

To bypass all this stress, you can use a cybercafe or accredited centres

    1. Visit any cyber cafe close to you
    2. Go with the scanned document and tell them you want to upload your O’level results.
    3. The fee is usually more than the conventional N500 fee, but the budget is N1500 for everything.
    4. The staff should confirm he has uploaded it for you.

    Frequently asked Questions

At the moment, no deadline as of 2025, but it’s advisable to update it as soon as possible to avoid a late rush.

How long does it take for uploaded results to reflect on JAMB?

In rare cases, it could take up to 48 hours, but normally, it shouldn’t exceed 24 hours.

Can I upload A’Level results to JAMB?

Yes, you can, but it’s only for direct-entry students; please take note.

What happens if my O’level results are not uploaded?

  • How to Reprint JAMB 2025 Exam Slip – Step by Step

How to Reprint JAMB 2025 Exam Slip – Step by Step

JAMB has started allowing students to reprint thier slips for those candidates of 2025. In this article, I’m going to walk you through every step you need to reprint your JAMB slip.

Do you know that you need the JAMB to slip for your UTME exams in your respective institution? thats how important the slip is. For the record, your JAMB slip contains your venue, date of exam and seat number.

  • Updated JAMB 2025/2026 Cut Off Mark for all Universities, Polytechnics & Colleges of Education

Updated JAMB 2025/2026 Cut Off Mark for all Universities, Polytechnics & Colleges of Education

Before you write that JAMB exam, do you know the cut off mark for the university or college you wish to gain admission to? I’m here to help; JAMB has officially announced the required cut-off marks for both universities, polytechnics and colleges for the 2025 JAMB exercise.

The official cut-off mark for Federal universities like FUTO, UNILAG, etc, is 140, whereas for the College of Education and Polythenics, the cut-off mark is 100.

Read also: (Free Download) – The Lekki Headmaster JAMB Novel PDF 2025/2026

Understand that different universes have their own official cut of marks, but it can never be lower than 140, so expect numbers from 140 above. For example, the cute Mark for electrical engineering in FUTO as of 2025 is 240; this is a cumulative of your JAMB score and post-UTME score.

Please verify the exact cut-off mark of your desired course before proceeding with the JAMB exam, then check your JAMB results after exams. The same is applicable to the College of Education and Polytechnics. What JAMB does is that they place a minimum number so that students can try to get admission.
